Sussex Chainsaw Milling
Locally Sourced Timber. Sustainability re-invented at home.
A large 36" beech milled with a Stihl 090av chainsaw at Boom Town festival 2013
Simon Parsons is pleased to offer an alternative use for your tree other than firewood. Whether it has been felled by a local tree surgeon or has been standing dead for years, why not make use of this free wood. Perhaps use it for a bespoke table or garden bench!!!

The ability to mill timber in the tightest of locations using our dedicated chainsaw mill is normally more cost effective than a woodmizer and operator for the day for small scale milling work.

Not only that, but we don’t have access issues or the need for heavy lifting equipment that other operatives may require.

Our large 60” chainsaw bar gives us the ability to mill trees with a diameter of  approximately 54 inches. We are sure that will most likely cover the majority of normal trees in the UK.
